As a Vision Specialist at DataVision, you will play a key role in designing innovative solutions that optimize manufacturing processes using advanced image processing and AI technologies. You will contribute to the core development of our products and applications, ensuring high-quality delivery of solutions that push the boundaries of industrial automation.

 

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the R&D team to develop innovative machine vision solutions, leveraging advanced technologies such as 3D cameras and laser-based systems.

• Participate in the design of applications focused on image processing.

• Select hardware components (cameras, sensors, lasers) to ensure seamless compatibility with software solutions.

• Implement backend technical solutions for machine vision systems.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

 

Position Requirements

• Must-have:

  • Experience with designing machine vision applications (HW and SW).

  • Experience with camera calibrations (2D or 3D).

  • Enthusiasm for machine vision technologies. 

  • Analytical thinking with effective problem-solving skills.

  • Team-oriented mindset with open communication skills.

• Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with ASP .NET Core, REST API development, and Docker containers.

  • Familiarity with Linux systems, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), Git version control, and code review tools like Gerrit.

  • Experience with OpenCV.

  • Background in testing of vision algorithms.

 

Minimum Education and Experience

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Vision, or a related field /or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 5 years of programming experience.
